Roles and responsibilities:

Manage lease agreements including lease abstraction, classification, and accounting treatment.
Ensure compliance with lease accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842, IFRS 16) and regulatory requirements.
Perform lease accounting calculations such as straight-line rent, lease liability, and right-of use asset.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including real estate, legal, and operations to review lease terms and agreements.
Prepare and analyze lease-related financial reports and disclosures for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of lease accounting software and systems.
Support internal and external audits related to lease accounting.
Stay updated with changes in lease accounting standards and recommend process improvements.
Provide training and guidance to junior team members on lease accounting principles.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of lease accounting standards (ASC 842, IFRS 16) and GAAP principles.
Proficiency in lease accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lucernex).
Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Comfortable working in night shifts
