Job Description Position Name- SAP Project Manager Position Details Current position holder- NA Reports to Module Lead FI, CO, PS,TR & FM Purpose - Why does this role exist? The role is required to support the growing Finance, Costing, Compliance, Digitization and MIS requirements across JSW Group and support the various transformation and digitization projects underway and planned particularly in the Finance area Organization Chart (attach Organization Chart as Annexure)Position reports to : Module Lead FI, CO, PS & FM Positions peer with : Positions reporting : Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators) 1. Finance transformation projects 2. Treasury and Trade Finance operations 3. Banking automation 4. Internal controls and audit compliance 5. Predictive analysis and Dashboards 6. Digitisation/Internal controls 7. Management reporting and dashboards 8. SAP Roll outs 9. New Projects 10. Process improvements 11. Digitisation/Internal controls/MIS reports Critical Tasks Candidate would be a part of the Group IT team and report to Business Excellence Head Able to collaborate with the business and lead various IT initiatives in the Costing, Finance, Management accounting and Reporting areas Able to drive Finance-IT programs independently with very little supervision Strong communication skills with ability to convince various levels of management about the Finance-IT strategy Good network in the Finance-IT sphere and in relevant SAP or other customer user groups, so as to leverage the knowledge gained for the JSW Groups benefit Candidate should have at least 12+ years of overall experience including 10+ years of SAP implementation, Roll-outs across SAP FICO modules and other interface applications. - at least 2+ end to end implementation projects should be in FICO module of S/4 HANA with reputed companies in India Should have worked on FICO modules like GL, Asset Accounting, AP, AR, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Material Ledger, Variant Configuration, Actual costing Must have worked on at least 4 full life-cycle SAP implementations or Rollouts within India. Should have good design and configuration knowledge in processes like Made to Order, Made to Stock, Process orders, Discrete and Repetitive processes, Batch costing, Variant configuration, ML closing, Settlement processes, Form based reporting, Cost center planning and budgeting, Financial consolidation Must have strong experience in developing interfacing applications like E-Collections, Bank reconciliation, Forex automation, LC modules, EXIM etc. Knowledge of GST processes and integration knowledge of cross modules with FICO is needed Must be very fluent in month end closing processes related to FICO modules Should have experience managing cross functional teams of 4-5 nos. Candidates with PMP certification will be preferred Should be able to drive Projects independently and lead as well as collaborate across IT and business teams on several business critical initiatives Work closely with the business in providing the thought leadership in laying out the IT automation roadmap for Finance and Costing areas Should have good integration knowledge of SD, MM, PP, PS and BI areas. Familiarity with new suite of applications like S/4 HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud, RPA, etc will be an advantage. Decision making authority (Decisions expected) Single point of contact for ongoing SAP Rollouts/Projects and their schedules, constraint management, team management internal and external Conflict resolution within internal and external teams Educational Background and Work Experience Commerce background- Candidates with qualifications like CA, ICWA, MBA would be given preference but not a MUST Would prefer candidates from Manufacturing companies Candidates who have worked as Project Manager or Team lead or Senior Consultant in Big 4 consulting companies or Tier 2 companies will also be considered Competencies- Strong knowledge of business processes GL, AP, AR, AA, FM, Treasury Product Costing, ML, Actual Costing, COPA Strong Analytical skills Cross Module integration skills Strong Communication skills Interaction with Senior management Vendor management Working relationships StakeholdersInternal: Corporate Finance & MIS, Plant Finance and Costing teams, Shared Services, Audit, Marketing and Logistics teams External: Collaboration with Implementation partners, Vendor eco system, Auditors, Peer network Key Success Factors Challenges Ability to collaborate and build integrated solutions considering the In-flight projects underway Strong business process knowledge Change Management Ability to deal with unplanned situations Other information- Familiarity with new suite of applications like S/4 HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud, RPA, etc will be an advantage Cross module skills in PS, Investment Management, BI reporting is an added advantage
