Position: Import Executive

Experience:

The Import Executive will support and manage the end-to-end import process for bearings and related products. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant import operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and evaluating reliable international suppliers

• Coordinate with logistics partners for transportation, documentation, and customs clearance

• Track shipments, monitor inventory, and ensure timely delivery

• Ensure compliance with import laws, regulations, and quality standards

• Prepare & maintain accurate import documentation and reports

• Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, CHA, and internal teams

• Support in negotiating prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules

• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost optimization opportunities

• Contribute to improving lead times, quality, and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field

• 5 to 8 years of experience in import operations or similar role

• Knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures & trade agreements

• Familiarity with the bearings industry is an added advantage

• Strong communication & coordination skills

• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, MS Office & logistics software

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
