V&V Program Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define V&V program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain integrated V&V program plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Monitor and control V&V program execution to ensure adherence to scope, cost, quality, and schedule commitments.
• Prepare, manage, and track V&V program budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Identify cost-optimization opportunities while ensuring financial governance and compliance.
• Create detailed schedules and track progress against baseline plans using Agile and traditional project management tools.
• Proactively identify program risks and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
• Champion Agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban across V&V and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure incremental and measurable value delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for program status, risks, issues, and escalations.
• Prepare and present executive-level dashboards, reports, and program health metrics.
• Drive timely resolution of issues impacting program scope, cost, quality, or schedule.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in managing end-to-end software V&V programs is required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams effectively is required.
• Hands-on experience using Agile tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, and Confluence is required.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery frameworks including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban is required.
• Experience in program planning, scheduling, and progress tracking is required.
• Strong risk management, issue resolution, and dependency management skills are required.
• Experience preparing executive-level status reports and dashboards is required.
• Financial planning and budget management experience is required.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills are required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• MBA or PMP certification is preferred.
