We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator Supervisor to oversee end-to-end machine operations, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to supervise and develop a team. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Machine Operation: Manage the entire machine operation process, from setup to production, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve operational issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. Supervision and Job Setting: Lead and supervise machine operators, setting up jobs according to specifications and ensuring adherence to processes and safety protocols. Tool Selection and Handling: Select and maintain appropriate tools for various tasks, ensuring proper usage and handling to maintain quality. Technical Proficiency: Interpret technical drawings and documents accurately to guide machine setup and operation. Machine Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, performing repairs or coordinating maintenance as needed. Instrument and Gauge Handling: Use and calibrate measuring instruments and gauges to ensure precise measurements and adherence to specifications. Quality Inspection: Conduct quality inspections and visual checks on products, identifying defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards. NPD Part Handling: Manage new product development (NPD) parts, overseeing their transition from prototype to full production. Cycle Time Monitoring and Manpower Management: Monitor part cycle times and manage workforce allocation to enhance productivity and efficiency. Team Development: Focus on improving team skills, mentoring operators, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
