Job Description

18 20 years of professional experience in Injectable Pharmaceuticals or similar domain with a minimum of 5 – 6 years in an senior-leadership role of managing the Formulation R&D functionResponsible as the Head of Department for the entire Research & Development function of this position is part of the Executive Leadership Team of the company. 2. Apart from leading the function and providing direction for a smooth functioning of the routine deliverables, the incumbent is expected to lead the function from a strategic perspective with clear long-term and short-term priorities and deliverables. 3. Prior hands-on experience in the domains of Formulations R&D especially in Peptides, Long Acting Injectables, Suspensions/Depot formulations, Microspheres, 595B2 RTU formulations are essential. 4. Prior experience in Injectables / Complex Injectables will be essential. 5. Prior experience of handling large teams is essential. 6. Experience of API R&D will surely be an added advantage. 7. Cross functional collaboration and ability to align Functional priorities with Organization priorities will be a critical success factor in this role. 8. Optimum utilization of resources and Adherence to budgetary guidelines. Candidate should be a Doctorate (PhD) in Pharmaceutics / Drug Design / Pharma / Organic Chemistry.
