VP-Aircraft procurement(Leasing and Finance)

As the Vice President of Procurement (Aircraft Leasing and Finance), you will play a crucial role in leading and managing all procurement functions related to the acquisition, leasing, and financing of aircraft and related services. Your responsibilities will include optimizing procurement strategies, negotiating high-value lease and finance agreements, managing supplier and lessor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and commercial frameworks within the aviation and finance sectors in India and internationally. You will be responsible for developing end-to-end procurement strategies for new and used aircraft acquisition, including dry/wet leases, sale and leasebacks, and outright purchases. Additionally, you will manage all aspects of leasing agreements with aircraft lessors and OEMs, from term sheets and LOIs to final contracts. Collaborating with finance and legal teams, you will structure financially sound and regulatory-compliant leasing and financing arrangements. You will also build and maintain strategic partnerships with aircraft manufacturers, lessors, financiers, and MRO providers, driving effective supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management. In alignment with the organization's fleet planning and expansion goals, you will develop procurement strategies and lead initiatives to optimize the total cost of ownership while upholding safety and operational integrity. Ensuring procurement contracts comply with aviation laws, financial regulations, and company policies, you will manage risk exposure through robust contract negotiation and governance. Furthermore, you will be responsible for building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing procurement team with deep domain knowledge in aircraft leasing and finance. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the success of the procurement function and contributing to the overall growth and efficiency of the organization.,
