Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Develop and implement company-wide financial strategies, long-term financial models, and budgeting processes in line with the company's strategic growth objectives for its Real Estate, Education, and Hospitality businesses. Financial Planning & Analysis:
Lead financial forecasting and planning, performance analysis, monitoring actual results against forecasts to provide actionable insights. Reporting & Compliance:
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports for all stakeholders, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry standards across all business units. Manage Cash Flow:
Manage cash flow to meet short term objectives. Have good relationships with banks and financial institutions. Internal Controls & Risk Management:
Design, implement, and monitor robust internal control systems and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. Financial Oversight:
Provide financial leadership and direction for all business units, including real estate development, educational institutions, and hospitality services. Budgetary Management:
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor spending, and ensure financial discipline across the organization. Strategic Input:
Advise the Management / Board of Directors on financial viability of new ventures, investment opportunities, and potential challenges. Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate the company's financial performance and strategic direction to internal teams, investors, and external stakeholders effectively. Risk Mitigation:
Assess financial risks associated with each business vertical and develop strategies to mitigate them.External Financial Audit:
Proficiency in statutory and tax audits for various group company. Have experience in carrying out internal audit and prepare account for external audit processes to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. MIS and SAP/ERP Experience:
Extensive, hands-on experience with ERP systems is required, with specific expertise in SAP. This includes SAP/ ERP implementation, process automation, financial controls, and Management Information System (MIS)
Qualification and Expertise
Education:
CA (preferred) / MBA Finance / MCom Accounting or Finance. With specialisation in TaxationIndustry Expertise:
Proven experience in high-growth companies, ideally with exposure to the Real Estate, Education, and Hospitality sectors, or a deep understanding of their unique financial structures. Real Estate (RERA):
Deep understanding of RERA compliance, project accounting, due diligence, land acquisition, and capital structuring. Taxation Laws:
Strong knowledge and experience in direct and indirect taxation, including GST , TDS, and tax audits, across all relevant sectors. Education & Hospitality:
Experience in managing the unique financial and accounting structures of educational institutions and the hospitality sector. Technical Experience:
Extensive experience with ERP systems required, with specific expertise in SAP. This includes SAP ERP implementation, process automation, financial controls, and Management Information System (MIS) reporting.
Preferred candidate profile
VP- Accounts for a company diversified into Real Estate, Education, and Hospitality who can lead all financial aspects, including strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, financial reporting, and compliance across all sectors.
Deep understanding direct and indirect Taxation Laws and that of RERA compliance, project accounting, due diligence, land acquisition, and capital structuring.
He shall be responsible for the P and L and Balance sheet finalisation, its Audit and related Taxation aspects. Responsibilities involve managing cash flow, risk assessment, implementing internal controls, and providing financial insights to support business growth and strategic decisions for each vertical.
He must have Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication, critical thinking, and the ability to make executive decisions are essential.
Should preferably be qualified CA with extensive experience (15+ years) in Finance and at least FIVE years in a senior leadership role, preferably with diverse sector experience.
