Voice-Based Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA)

As a Voice-Based Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA), your role involves handling voice-based interactions like inbound/outbound calls and real-time medical documentation tasks. You will communicate with healthcare providers, patients, or clients over the phone, ensuring accurate documentation of clinical or operational information in the system. - Making or attending voice calls to assist physicians, patients, or healthcare staff - Listening to live or recorded patient-provider interactions and transcribing patient history, examination details, diagnoses, and treatment plans - Following call handling scripts, protocols, and documentation guidelines - Clarifying unclear information by coordinating with the provider or reporting concerns to the supervisor - Maintaining data confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies - Meeting performance benchmarks related to call handling, documentation accuracy, and productivity - Staying updated with medical terms, scribing protocols, and voice etiquette standards Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or any healthcare-related field (preferred) - Experience in medical scribing, transcription, or a voice process (BPO/KPO) is a plus - Proficiency in English (written and spoken) with knowledge of additional languages as a bonus - Familiarity with healthcare systems, EHRs, or CRMs is desirable - Typing speed of at least 40 WPM with high accuracy Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as health insurance and provident fund.
