Job Description – Visual Merchandiser (Retail)

Position: Visual Merchandiser (VM)
Department: Retail Operations
Reports to: Retail Manager / Cluster Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement effective visual merchandising strategies across retail stores.
• Ensure product displays, signage, lighting, and layouts are in line with brand guidelines.
• Regularly update window displays, mannequins, and in-store visuals to attract customer attention.
• Coordinate with the marketing and sales teams to execute promotional campaigns.
• Monitor competitor activities and suggest innovative display ideas.
• Ensure stock levels on display are maintained and replenished as required.
• Train store staff on VM standards and ensure compliance across locations.
• Conduct regular store visits and provide feedback for improvement.
• Maintain VM materials, props, and display equipment.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong creativity and design sense.
• Knowledge of retail trends and customer preferences.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and design tools (added advantage).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Retail Management, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in retail/apparel sector.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
