Visual Merchandiser

The Visual Merchandiser for the Jewellery Industry in Ahmedabad with 1-5 years of experience (Freshers with creative aptitude may apply) will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal of jewellery showrooms and displays. Your primary focus will be to ensure brand consistency, boost customer engagement, and create visually striking presentations that elevate the in-store experience and drive sales. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing innovative visual displays for jewellery showrooms such as windows, counters, and in-store areas. You will be expected to plan seasonal, festive, and promotional themes aligned with marketing campaigns, as well as coordinate with store managers, designers, and marketing teams for new product launches. Maintaining visual merchandising standards across all stores as per brand guidelines, updating display layouts based on inventory, trends, and customer flow, and ensuring proper lighting, cleanliness, and aesthetics of displays will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will train showroom staff on basic display maintenance and visual standards, conduct regular audits, and provide visual feedback and improvement plans as needed. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Diploma/Degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, along with 1-5 years of experience in retail visual merchandising, preferably within the jewellery or luxury retail sector. A strong sense of aesthetics, color, composition, and trends is essential, while proficiency in visual design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, etc., will be advantageous. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to travel to multiple showroom locations as needed are also required. Preferred qualities for this role include a passion for jewellery and luxury fashion, an understanding of customer psychology and buyer behavior in retail, as well as the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
