Description
As a Visual Communication Designer at EY, you will play a crucial role in transforming business-relevant content into visually compelling presentations, brochures, videos, and templates. Your main focus will be to collaborate with consultants and managers to ensure all materials align with internal branding or client-specific styles. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Adobe suite, and learning tools will be essential to deliver clean, efficient designs under tight deadlines, enhancing client understanding and engagement through impactful visual messaging and creative storytelling. **Key Responsibilities:** - Translate complex ideas into intuitive, visually engaging graphics that improve comprehension and retention. - Develop creative assets from concept to completion, ensuring consistency with branding guidelines. - Design and conceptualize branding materials including brochures, placemats, illustrations, layouts, infographics, proposals, on-screen presentations, short videos, and social media collaterals. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs and deliver editable, professional outputs. - Create storyboards, format client proposals, advisory decks, slip sheets, and internal presentations. - Create infographics, flowcharts, and process diagrams using Visio to visually represent complex information. - Maintain and update reusable design templates and support print-ready brochure creation when required. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. - Apply design thinking and communication design principles to enhance visual storytelling. - Keep up with current design trends and advocate their adoption across teams and clients. - Drive creativity through the integration of AI tools and techniques in design workflows. **Required Skillset & Qualifications:** - **Tools & Platforms - Preferred Proficiency:** - Design & Layout: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects (basic) - Presentation & Documentation: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Document Cloud - Learning & Video Tools: Synthesia, Captivate, Articulate Storyline - Collaboration & Visualization: Miro, Visio - Storyboarding & Video Editing: Strong foundational skills in storyboarding and video editing **Preferred Skills and Characteristics:** - Strong understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy. - Ability to produce clean, professional, and editable designs. - Experience in implementing branding and style guides. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to interpret and incorporate feedback from consultants, managers, and partners. - Professional demeanor and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English with clear, professional communication skills. - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. - Efficient and quality-focused work style. - Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities. - Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. - Demonstrates integrity, adaptability, and a strong work ethic in global, cross-functional teams.
