Role Title:

• Deliver on-site diagnostic coronary angiography and perform elective and emergency percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) during the scheduled visiting day.
• Assess and stabilise patients presenting with acute coronary syndromes; lead decision-making for urgent cath lab activation and post-procedure care.
• Manage pre-procedure evaluation and post-procedure follow-up, including discharge planning and clear procedural documentation.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, anaesthesia, ICU and nursing teams to ensure safe peri-procedural workflows and timely handovers.
• Maintain and enforce cath-lab clinical protocols, safety checklists and infection-control standards to meet quality metrics and regulatory requirements.
• Provide periodic mentorship and practical training to cardiology trainees, cath-lab technicians and nursing staff to strengthen local capability.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• DM or DrNB in Cardiology with formal interventional fellowship or equivalent interventional training.
• Proven hands-on experience performing diagnostic coronary angiography and PCI in a cath-lab setting.
• Ability to manage acute MI and emergent interventional scenarios independently.
• Valid medical registration in India and eligibility to practice in Himachal Pradesh.
• Strong procedural documentation and adherence to clinical governance and patient-safety protocols.
  

Preferred

• Experience with intravascular imaging modalities (IVUS/OCT) and complex PCI techniques (bifurcation, CTO).
• Prior visiting-consultant or outreach clinic experience in semi-urban/rural settings.
  

• Flexible one-day-per-week engagement with competitive visiting consultant remuneration.
