Job Description

We are looking for Vision Plus Support Engineer who can join us immediately.

Role & responsibilities required-

Core Responsibilities

  • System Monitoring & Health Checks

    : Perform daily validations and health checks across critical VisionPLUS modules such as

    CMS

    (Credit Management System),

    FAS

    (Financial Authorization System),

    TRAMS

    (Transaction Management System), and

    ITS

    .
  • Incident Management (L1/L2)

    : Act as the first point of contact for technical glitches. Tasks include initial triage of user tickets, providing quick fixes, and handling escalations to L3 or development teams for complex issues.
  • Batch Job Management

    : Monitor application and batch job alerts to ensure overnight processing of card transactions is completed without failure.
  • Release & Patching Support

    : Coordinate with vendor and infrastructure teams for monthly release deployments, VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) patching, and system upgrades.
  • Documentation & Reporting

    : Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and a knowledge base for recurring issues. Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident reports for leadership review.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience

    : Typically requires

    2 to 6 years

    in L1/L2 application support, preferably within banking or card-related systems.
  • Technical Knowledge

    :
    • Familiarity with

      VisionPLUS architecture

      and its core modules.
    • Experience with mainframe technologies such as

      JCL, COBOL, and CICS

      is often highly preferred.
    • Proficiency in database querying (SQL/DB2) and log analysis for troubleshooting.
  • Tools

    : Experience using ITSM tools like

    ServiceNow

    or

    Remedy

    for tracking incidents.
  • Certifications

    : Knowledge of

    ITIL practices

    is a standard requirement for these roles.
  • Availability

    : Support roles at IndusInd Bank often require

    24/7 availability

    or shift rotations to maintain system uptime as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
