If you are not interested, request you to help me reach the right candidate Job Title: Data Engineer-Informatica BDM Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 4+ Years About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Informatica Big Data Management , Hadoop , SQL/NoSQL databases , and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale data systems, security compliance, and end-to-end data pipeline design and implementation within a Banking or Financial Services environment. Education Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience. Experience & Technical Skills Minimum 4+ years of development and design experience in Informatica Big Data Management . Extensive knowledge in Oozie scheduling , HQL , Hive , HDFS , and data partitioning strategies. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database design and development. Hands-on experience in Linux OS configuration , including shell scripting . Familiarity with design patterns and practical implementation. Strong experience with Agile , DevOps , and CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins. Expertise in distributed services ecosystem and resiliency in production environments. Capable of designing, testing, and implementing security systems , identifying gaps and proposing improvements. Deep understanding of data security controls , including CRON jobs , ETLs , JDBC/ODBC scripts . Basic understanding of Networking principles DNS, Proxy, ACLs, Policy, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of data compliance and regulations (encryption, anonymization, data integrity). Awareness of data sensitivity – no logging of card numbers or personal data in logs. Ability to implement wrapper solutions to ensure compliance with banking standards. Functional Skills Experience in Agile methodologies . Capability to ensure high-quality architecture and application design across the organization. Strong technology benchmarking and research capabilities. Preferred: Experience in Banking, Financial Services , or FinTech domains . Ability to influence cross-functional teams by sharing deep domain knowledge .
