Job Title: Visa & Immigration Counselor Location: Ahmedabad Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Immigration Services Reports To: Owner Job Summary:We are seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Visa & Immigration Counselor to guide individuals through the complex processes of visa applications and immigration procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising clients on eligibility, documentation requirements, and timelines, while ensuring full compliance with immigration laws and regulations of the destination country. Key Responsibilities:Provide accurate information and guidance to clients regarding visa and immigration laws, policies, and procedures. Assess individual client eligibility and identify appropriate visa or immigration pathways. Assist clients in preparing and reviewing documentation for visa applications (e.g., study, work, PR, tourist). Submit and monitor visa applications, liaising with embassies, consulates, and immigration authorities as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in immigration laws, visa categories, and application procedures. Ensure timely communication and updates to clients regarding the status of their applications. Prepare clients for visa interviews, including mock interview sessions and document checks. Maintain accurate records of client cases and update CRM systems regularly. Follow up on post-visa services such as accommodation, travel bookings, and pre-departure briefings (if applicable). Handle client inquiries professionally and resolve issues or escalations efficiently. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Relations, Business, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience (1–3+ years) in visa processing, immigration services, or international education consulting. In-depth understanding of immigration processes for countries such as [Canada, USA, UK, Australia, etc.]. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to handle sensitive client information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Preferred Qualifications:Certification in immigration consultancy or relevant legal training. Multilingual abilities are a plus. Experience working with students or professionals seeking work/study permits.
