As a Creative Producer & Anchor, you will be responsible for developing engaging and accurate scripts for news stories while maintaining journalistic integrity and standards. This involves conducting thorough research, fact-checking, and crafting narratives that effectively communicate the core message of each piece. You will lead the voice-over production process for news packages by writing compelling voice-over scripts, coordinating with voice artists, and overseeing the recording process to ensure clarity, tonal appropriateness, and alignment with the visual content of the news stories. Playing a vital role in selecting the lineup of news stories for coverage, you will stay updated on current events, analyze the relevance and impact of various news topics, and make editorial decisions on which stories will most effectively engage and inform the audience. Collaboration with the editorial team is key to identifying trending topics and unique angles for news stories, ensuring diverse and comprehensive news coverage. Working closely with reporters, videographers, and editors, you will provide creative direction and feedback to bring scripts to life and ensure high-quality news production. Continuous monitoring of the effectiveness of news stories through audience engagement metrics and feedback will help in refining content strategies and improving viewer satisfaction. To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of prior experience in a similar position, strong management and coordination abilities, and a solid understanding of social media content management. Efficient analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as prior experience with digital, print, TV, and media agencies, are essential. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, be a rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate proven organizational and negotiation skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, persistence, resilience, and the ability to handle pressure are crucial. Excellent research skills to source relevant content will also be required.
