🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

• Edit high-quality

  long-form videos

  (5–30 minutes) and

  short-form YouTube Shorts

  and reels (30–60 seconds) for our YouTube channel(s).
• Apply seamless

  transitions, colour grading, sound design, and visual effects

  that enhance the storytelling experience.
• Create and integrate

  motion graphics

  using After Effects or similar tools to elevate visual appeal.
• Collaborate with the content and creative teams to brainstorm ideas, plan video structure, and align with brand voice and aesthetics.
• Repurpose long-form content into bite-sized, engaging clips optimized for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.

🛠️ Tools You Should Master

• Adobe Premiere Pro

  – for video editing and sequencing

• Adobe After Effects

  – for motion graphics, animation, and visual effects

🌟 What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience, especially in

  YouTube-first

  content.
• A strong

  portfolio or showreel

  demonstrating your ability to edit both long and short-form content.
• Deep understanding of pacing, storytelling, audience retention, and editing trends on YouTube and social media.
• Expertise in

  motion graphics, kinetic typography, lower-thirds, animated intros/outros

  .
• Excellent sense of music, rhythm, and timing in edits.
• Ability to adapt editing styles across genres—educational, entertaining, narrative, or corporate.
• Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and open to feedback.

✅ Nice to Have

• Experience in color correction and audio mixing.
• Familiarity with YouTube SEO, thumbnails, and optimization strategies.
• Understanding of scripting, storyboarding, and pre-production planning.
