Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, YouTube, ads, and brand content using Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Adapt to Verd Media’s editing style, pace, formatting, and quality benchmarks with quick iteration.
• Source stock footage, sound effects, and assets; organize project files, proxies, and exports efficiently.
• Use AI tools for image generation, video enhancement, scripting assistance, and asset upscaling where relevant.
• Collaborate via WhatsApp/Slack/Drive; meet daily/weekly deadlines and handle feedback professionally.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (one is mandatory; both is a plus).
• Good sense of pacing, storytelling, transitions, captions, motion graphics basics, and sound design.
• Ability to research and find resources: stock sites, copyright-free music, overlays, plugins.
• Working knowledge of AI tools: image gen (e.g., Midjourney/Stable Diffusion), AI video gen (e.g., Runway/Pika), and assistants like ChatGPT for scripting/ideation.
• Fast learner with strong attention to detail and file discipline.

Nice-to-Have:

• After Effects basics for titles, kinetic typography, and simple animations.
• Color correction/grading familiarity in DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for YouTube channels, Reels/Shorts, and ad creatives.
