Video Editor (Reels & Social Media Specialist)

Affirm Collective is looking for a creative and fast-thinking Video Editor who lives and breathes reels, trends, and transitions. If you can turn raw clips into scroll-stopping stories with the perfect mix of rhythm, effects, and emotion — we want you on our team.

Your Role:

• Edit high-impact reels, ad films, and short-form videos for social media.
• Add modern transitions, effects, and sound syncs that resonate with Gen-Z audiences.
• Collaborate with creative, design, and strategy teams to bring campaign ideas to life.
• Maintain brand consistency while experimenting with trendy and viral editing styles.
• Stay updated on current music trends, editing formats, and viral social aesthetics.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of professional experience in video editing for social media or agency work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut / DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong grasp of timing, pacing, color grading, and sound design.
• Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok-style content.
• Creative mindset with the ability to ideate and execute independently.
• Bonus: Experience with CGI, VFX, or AI-based editing tools.
