Role Overview

We are looking for a creative Junior Video Editor who can edit short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style) with fast pacing, trendy cuts, engaging subtitles, effects, sound design, and storytelling aimed at virality.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos (15–60 seconds) for social media platforms
• Add captions, motion graphics, SFX, transitions, and relevant memes
• Repurpose long-form footage into bite-sized viral clips
• Identify viral trends, hooks, pacing techniques, and platform algorithms
• Collaborate with content strategists, videographers, and creative directors
• Optimize formats per platform (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut
• Understanding of social media trends, hooks, virality triggers
• Knowledge of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling for short-form content
• Basic sound mixing and color correction
• Ability to work fast under deadlines

Nice-to-Have

• Motion graphics / After Effects
• Thumbnail design knowledge
• Basic meme content sense

Qualifications

• 0–2 years experience (freshers encouraged if skilled)
• Portfolio of short-form edits is mandatory
