Job Title: Video Editor (6 Months – 1 Year Experience) Location: On-site Job Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience to join our content/marketing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through video, understands pacing and transitions, and can edit videos that align with brand tone and audience engagement goals. Key Responsibilities: Edit and assemble raw footage into engaging and high-quality videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Add effects, graphics, music, subtitles, and transitions to enhance video content. Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to understand project goals and deliver creative output. Repurpose long-form content into short-form reels, teasers, or highlight videos. Stay updated on current video trends and apply them creatively to projects. Organize and manage video assets for ease of access and reusability. Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Required Skills & Qualifications: 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in video editing (internship/freelance experience may count). Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Basic understanding of motion graphics (After Effects or similar tools is a plus). Strong sense of timing, visual storytelling, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines. A creative mindset with a passion for visual content and new media. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Design, Communication, or related field (not mandatory). Experience in editing for social media platforms (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.). Knowledge of color grading and audio editing. Familiarity with scriptwriting or storyboarding is a bonus. Show more Show less
