Video Editor

About the Role:We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, has a strong sense of visual composition and pacing, and can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content. You’ll collaborate closely with our creative, marketing, and production teams to bring ideas to life across a variety of formats — from social media clips and branded content to commercials, documentaries, and long-form video projects. Key Responsibilities:Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with brand guidelines and project goals. Add music, sound effects, graphics, motion design, and color correction as needed. Collaborate with producers, directors, and content creators to interpret project briefs and deliver creative concepts. Maintain organized project files and adhere to consistent file-naming and version-control protocols. Optimize videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, website, etc.). Stay up to date with the latest editing techniques, software updates, and video trends. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications:2+ years of professional experience in video editing or post-production. Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software. Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and rhythm. Experience with color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics is a plus. Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and delivery standards. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a creative team. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous editing work. Preferred Skills:Experience with 3D animation or VFX. Familiarity with social media algorithms and content optimization.
