About the Role

Multimedia Designer

Key Responsibilities

1. AI-Integrated Video Production

• Edit high-retention videos for LinkedIn, YouTube, and Social Media.

• AI Implementation:

  Use AI tools for footage upscaling (e.g., Topaz), automatic captioning, and AI-assisted rotoscoping to cut editing time in half.
• Create engaging

  motion graphics

  , logo animations, intros/outros, and kinetic typography.
• Handle colour correction, sound design, and audio syncing to ensure professional broadcast quality.
• Generate b-roll or background assets using

  Text-to-Video

  tools (e.g., Runway, Pika) when stock footage is unavailable.

2. Graphic Design & Gen-AI Art

• Generative Design:

  Use tools like

  Midjourney

  or

  Adobe Firefly

  to create unique concept art, expand backgrounds (Generative Fill), and rapidly iterate on design ideas.
• Maintain strict brand consistency even when using AI-generated elements.
• Create visual assets using

  Adobe Photoshop

  and

  Illustrator

  for marketing campaigns.
• Ensure all designs are visually cohesive and aligned with current design trends.

3. Audio & Scripting

• Clean up audio using

  AI De-noise

  tools
• Generate high-quality AI voiceovers for varied video styles.
• Collaborate with AI LLMs (like ChatGPT) to brainstorm video scripts, hooks, and storyboard concepts.

4. Collaboration & Workflow

• Work closely with the content team to understand video concepts and storyboards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in video editing, AI design tools, and social media formats.

Required Software Skills (Tech Stack)

Adobe Creative Cloud

• Video:

  Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects (DaVinci Resolve is a plus).

• Graphics:

  Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.

• Audio:

  Adobe Audition (basic knowledge).

AI Tool Proficiency (Required):

• Visual Generation:

  Midjourney, DALL-E 3, or Adobe Firefly.

• Video AI:

  RunwayML, Kaiber, or Topaz Video AI.

• Audio AI:

  ElevenLabs, Adobe Podcast, or similar AI audio tools.

• Productivity:

  Familiarity with ChatGPT/Claude for prompt engineering and ideation.

Requirements

• Portfolio is a Must:

  A showreel or portfolio demonstrating strong video editing skills and graphic design work.
• Proven experience in

  Motion Graphics

  (text animation, effects, transitions).
• Strong understanding of aspect ratios, export settings, and formats for different social platforms.
• Creative eye for composition, typography, and colour theory.
• Ability to work independently and take design feedback constructively.
• Ability to write effective

  Prompts

  to get high-quality results from AI models.
• Strong understanding of

  Copyright & Ethics

  regarding AI-generated content.
