About the Role EdShala is building India’s first student-centric social learning platform. We are looking for a confident, energetic, and communication-strong Field Anchor who can interact with students across UPSC, SSC, JEE, NEET, Banking, and State Exams . Your role will include taking on-ground interviews, building connections with students, understanding their learning needs, and helping EdShala create meaningful content and community insights. Candidates from Mass Communication / Journalism or those with strong on-camera skills are ideal. Key Responsibilities 🎤 On-Ground Student Interaction Conduct surveys & interviews at coaching hubs, libraries, PG clusters, coaching streets & student hotspots Take short on-camera interactions with students from multiple exam categories Ask structured questions and capture genuine opinions 📹 Content & Media Coordination Record video bytes, testimonials, and ground reports Suggest trending topics for interviews & reels Work with EdShala’s content team for planning shoots 📊 Research & Insight Collection Gather insights about student needs, issues, study behavior & trends Track challenges across UPSC, SSC, JEE, NEET & other competitive exams Share weekly insights & reports with the internal team 🤝 Community Building Support Build a strong network of students and aspirants Encourage participation in EdShala’s community Represent EdShala as the on-ground face of the brand Required Skills & Qualifications Educational Background Preferably Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies Other backgrounds accepted if communication skills are excellent Skill Requirements Excellent spoken Hindi (English is a bonus) Strong camera presence & interviewing confidence Comfortable with public interaction and field activities Understanding of Indian student exam ecosystem is preferred Personality Traits Outgoing, energetic, and street-smart Approachable & friendly with students Passionate about education and community-building Comfortable traveling across student zones Why Join EdShala?
