Key Responsibilities

3+ Years of Experience is must in any Related Field

Edit and assemble raw footage from multiple camera sources into polished news segments.

Trim, cut, and enhance video clips to meet tight deadlines for live and recorded broadcasts.

Collaborate closely with producers, reporters, and technical teams to ensure seamless storytelling.

Apply transitions, graphics, and sound elements to create professional and engaging news packages.

Maintain consistency in style, tone, and quality across all video outputs.

Ensure all edits comply with editorial guidelines and broadcast standards.

Manage and organize video assets for quick retrieval and re-editing when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Video Editor in a news or media organization.

Strong proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).

Expertise in multi-camera editing workflows.

· Ability to work under pressure and deliver edits within extremely tight deadlines.

· Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.

· Knowledge of broadcast standards and newsroom operations.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film Production, or related field preferred.

Fast learner with exceptional attention to detail.

Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to breaking news situations.

Passion for journalism and commitment to delivering accurate, impactful content.
