Video Editor

We’re looking for a creative all-rounder who can shoot and edit high-quality content for KAI, our private pool villa resort. If you love storytelling, enjoy capturing real moments, and can turn raw footage into polished, engaging videos, this role is for you. Role OverviewYou’ll be stationed at KAI and will be responsible for building a strong visual identity for the property. This includes shooting weddings, celebrations, guest experiences, behind-the-scenes moments, and creating content for Instagram, reels, ads, and long-form videos. This role demands both videography and video editing skills. Candidates without both will not be considered. Key ResponsibilitiesVideographyShoot high-quality videos of guests, events, resort experiences, food, staff interactions, and property highlights Capture candid moments and storytelling shots Handle camera setups, lighting, gimbal/stabilizers, and audio equipment Maintain organized storage of footage Plan shoot concepts for reels and promotional videos Video EditingEdit reels, short-form content, and promotional videos for Instagram, YouTube, and ads Add music, transitions, captions, color grading, and smooth cuts Work with management to maintain a consistent content style Deliver quick edits during peak days (events, weddings, festivals) Content CreationDevelop new ideas for reels and trending concepts Shoot before/after videos, property walkthroughs, chef content, pool moments, etc. Support marketing campaigns with creative visuals Skills RequiredStrong videography + editing skills (mandatory) Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve Experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and basic lighting Understanding of framing, composition, and color grading Ability to work independently and as part of a hospitality team Good sense of aesthetics, pacing, and storytelling Comfort working on-site at KAI full-time Qualifications1–3 years of videography & editing experience Portfolio or showreel is mandatory Experience in hospitality/weddings is a plus, not a requirement
