Job Description

We are looking for a video editor who understands how performance marketing works. This role is not about making aesthetic videos — it is about creating ads that stop people from scrolling and make them buy.

You will work closely with our marketing team to produce fast, punchy, high-performance videos for Meta, Google and Amazon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form ads specifically for Meta, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Amazon listings.
  • Build strong hooks, fast pacing, clear messaging and clean layouts that drive clicks and conversions.
  • Create multiple variations of each concept for A/B testing.
  • Edit UGC videos, product demos, founder videos and testimonials into high-converting ads.
  • Add captions, overlays, graphics, transitions and sound design that enhance the message.
  • Study competitor ads and adapt winning styles to our brand.
  • Work with the performance team to understand what is working and improve future edits.
  • Deliver fast turnarounds while maintaining quality.

Required Skills

  • Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Basic ability in After Effects or comfort with motion graphics templates.
  • Experience editing ads or short-form content with fast cuts and strong retention.
  • Understanding of what makes an ad effective:
  • First 3 seconds
  • Story flow
  • Retention
  • Call-to-action
  • Ability to use AI tools like HeyGen, CapCut Pro, Runway etc.
  • Good sense of music selection and pacing.
  • Ability to organize raw footage, follow naming systems and maintain a clean workflow.

Good to Have

  • Experience with D2C, ecommerce or brand creatives.
  • Understanding of UGC structures (problem → proof → product → CTA).
  • Ability to brainstorm scripts and concepts along with the team.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience.
  • Freshers with a solid portfolio are welcome.
