Video Editor

What You’ll Do

• Edit ad films, branded content, corporate films, and documentaries into scroll-stopping, heart-thumping stories
• Cut short-form content: reels, shorts, teasers, trailers, and snackable edits that hook in 3 seconds
• Shape narrative, pacing, and tone from brief to final master
• Sound design basics: make it punch, not just play
• Color sensibility: from “flat” to “filmic” without breaking the look
• Add tasteful motion graphics and supers without screaming for attention
• Organize footage, manage project files, and version like a pro (Future You will thank Present You)
• Keep projects on time, on spec, and consistently excellent

You’ll Thrive Here If You

• Think in cuts, breathe in beats, and dream in timelines
• Are fluent in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects is a big plus
• Understand codecs, frame rates, exports, and why the audio is peaking (again)
• Have a strong sense of rhythm, story, and visual taste
• Can switch from glossy brand films to gritty doc edits without dropping the vibe
• Love being in the room, brainstorming, riffing, trying wild ideas, and landing the one that sings
• Stay current with platform trends and formats for Instagram, YouTube, and other socials

Nice-to-Haves

• Color grading chops in Resolve
• Motion graphics wizardry
• Basic VFX/cleanup skills
• Experience on set (so your edit brain speaks production)
