Video Editor

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with our brand's vision and storytelling goals. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit video footage to create compelling narratives that resonate with our audience.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project objectives and requirements.
• Utilize various editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid to produce high-quality content.
• Incorporate graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance the overall production quality.
• Perform photo manipulation and typography tasks as needed to support video projects.
• Manage video files through FTP and maintain organized archives of all project assets.
• Assist in the creation of 2D animations and videography as part of the editing process.
• Ensure all edits are completed on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Bridge.
• Experience with Final Cut Pro and Avid editing software.
• Strong understanding of photo manipulation techniques and typography principles.
• Familiarity with FTP protocols for file management.
• Knowledge of Maya for potential 3D animation tasks is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through video.
