Responsibilities Process customer transactions efficiently using the cash register and POS system. Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and addressing their inquiries. Upsell products and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area. Assist in stocking shelves and ensuring products are well-displayed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Skills Strong proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance the shopping experience. Knowledge of retail math concepts is a plus.
