Video Editor

We are looking for a hands-on Video Editor & Production Assistant who can manage post-production while also supporting on-ground shoots and content production. This role blends editing, storytelling, and field coordination and is ideal for someone who understands emotion-driven content and can work across the full video lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Edit short-form and long-form videos, including reels, YouTube videos, and campaign films.
• Work on raw footage from hospital shoots, home shoots, and NGO visits.
• Maintain storytelling flow, emotional pacing, and narrative clarity.
• Add basic sound design, subtitles, and transitions.
• Repurpose one video into multiple formats such as reels, shorts, and cutdowns.
• Follow brand tone and platform-specific best practices.

Production Assistance (Secondary)

• Assist during on-ground shoots such as hospital, home, and NGO shoots.
• Help with shot lists, basic lighting setup, and framing support.
• Coordinate with videographers, photographers, and internal teams.
• Manage footage backups, file naming, and asset organization.
• Support pre-production planning and post-shoot processes.
• Occasionally, help with behind-the-scenes or mobile footage capture.

Software & Tools Required

• Adobe Premiere Pro (primary editing software).
• Adobe After Effects for basic motion graphics, titles, and animations.
• Adobe Photoshop for thumbnails, basic design work, and frame cleanups.
• DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro (optional but good to have).
• Google Drive, Frame.io, or similar tools for file sharing and review.

Who Were Looking For:-

• Strong video editing skills with Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop.
• Basic understanding of camera shots, framing, and visual storytelling.
• Comfortable working in real and sensitive environments such as hospitals and homes.
• Emotionally aware editor who avoids over-dramatisation.
• Organised, dependable, and proactive.
• Willing to learn and grow across production, not limited to desk-based editing.

Bonus (Good to Have)

• Experience editing documentary or fundraising content.

Growth Path

• This role can grow into positions such as Senior Video Editor or Video Producer.
