About the Role
Contour Education is hiring a Video Editor to support the production of clear, accurate, and well-organised academic content.
This role focuses on simple, consistent editing, clean file organisation, and reliable uploading. You will work with structured educational recordings and ensure every video meets quality, naming, and documentation standards.
In the beginning, you will focus on editing recordings yourself to understand the workflow, expectations, and required output. Over time, you will maintain steady daily editing volume, follow established processes, and coordinate with the content team to ensure timely delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organised work, routine-based editing, and accuracy within a structured, high-accountability environment.

What You’ll Do
You will edit, manage, and upload academic videos to ensure accuracy, clarity, and proper documentation.
Editing
- Edit recordings across subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Psychology, and Med-Entry.
- Perform basic editing tasks including cutting, trimming, and arranging clips in the correct sequence.
- Maintain clarity, smooth flow, and consistency across all videos.
- Complete edits within the expected turnaround time for each recording type.
File Management and Uploading
- Download assigned recordings from the internal task board.
- Upload completed videos to the required folders and platforms.
- Follow proper naming conventions based on subject outlines or instructions.
- Update internal tracking sheets to maintain accurate and complete records.
Workflow and Coordination
- Follow daily workflow guidelines and assigned timelines.
- Coordinate with the team leader for guidance on naming, instructions, or feedback.
- Maintain an organised, methodical approach to editing and uploading tasks.
