Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor is responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, high-quality video content that aligns with the creative vision of the project. This role requires strong editing skills, storytelling ability, technical expertise, and the ability to work under tight deadlines typical in media production environments.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Video Editing & Storytelling

• Edit raw footage into engaging videos for ads, YouTube, social media, documentaries, interviews, short films, and corporate content.
• Select the best shots, sync audio, trim clips, and arrange sequences to shape the narrative.
• Enhance storytelling through pacing, transitions, text overlays, and creative visuals.

2. Post-Production Workflows

• Perform colour correction, colour grading, exposure fixes, and white balance adjustments.
• Add sound effects, background music, voiceovers, and audio enhancements.
• Work with LUTs, presets, and graphics required for visual consistency.

3. Motion Graphics Integration

• Add titles, lower-thirds, intro/outro animations, and basic motion graphics.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and motion artists for advanced visual elements.

4. Media Management & Organization

• Organize project files, maintain timelines, and follow structured folder systems.
• Manage and back up footage, project files, and final exports.
• Ensure smooth handover to team members when required.

5. Collaboration with Production Team

• Work closely with directors, cinematographers, scriptwriters, and content creators.
• Interpret creative briefs and deliver edits that match the tone and messaging.
• Make revisions based on feedback and maintain brand consistency.

6. Quality Control & Output

• Ensure final videos meet technical specifications for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook).
• Export multiple formats and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, etc.).
• Deliver clean, crisp, and professional video output.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects
• Knowledge of motion graphics is a big advantage.
• Good sense of timing, pacing, music selection, and storytelling.
• Ability to edit both long-form and short-form videos.
• Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop/Illustrator) is a plus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with YouTube editing and social media content.
• Ability to create motion graphics, GIFs, transitions, and animated elements.
• Basic knowledge of videography, lighting, and camera equipment (optional).

Education

• Degree/Diploma in Film Editing, Media Production, Visual Communication, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
