Video & Social Media Intern – Rishikesh (Eco-Youth Ashram Build Journey)
Kindly note our office is in Dehradun, but Internship is in Rishikesh Outskirts.Internship Time, as soon rain season is gone (approx between 1st to 5th Sept)We are starting from zero — raw hillside land near Neelkanth Temple, Yamkeshwar Block, Pauri (Rishikesh Outskirts 25 km from Tapovan) — to create a Meditation & Youth Skill centered eco-ashram built from mud, river stone, bamboo, and natural materials. This will be a youth karyashala (creative workshop hub) for yoga, meditation, Shiva, art, photography, design, music, sustainability, and global cultural exchange. Our social & spiritual project is aligned with multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — from sustainable communities and clean energy to climate action and heritage preservation. - Capture the Rishikesh Vibes.
- Capture the ashram’s journey from empty land to eco-buildings — mud mixing, stone setting, bamboo framing, and more.
- Make yoga & meditation videos.
- Create reels, shorts, and posts showing the behind-the-scenes process, workshops, and the Rishikesh vibe.
- Edit videos with authentic storytelling that reflects sustainability, teamwork, and Himalayan life.
- Assist in managing and scheduling social media content to share progress with a global audience.
- Document the project for archives, donors, and sustainability presentations.
What You’ll Experience
- Be part of an eco-construction site in the Himalayas, working with architects, artisans, yogis, and volunteers from around the world.
- Live close to nature — forests, rivers, mountains — while creating portfolio-worthy content.
- Learn about mud building, bamboo craft, and sustainable design.
- Gain real exposure to UN SDG-linked social impact work.
Requirements
- Own a Reliable Laptop.
- Preference to some has own DSLR.
- Preference to someone knowing any foreign language.
- Additional preference if you have 2 Wheeler which you can bring to Rishikesh.
- Super Preference to if you are a Yoga Person and can do Basic to Intermediate Asanas.
- In-between if required, willing to move for 4-5 days to our other Village enroute Kedarnath at Augustmuni for some shoot.
- Passion for Yoga, Meditation, Spirituality, Ganga, Shiva, Mystical India, Village Life.
- Wants to make portfolio in photography, videography, and social media.
- Basic editing skills (Premiere Pro).
- Should be able to shoot via Mobile / GoPro or Self Camera
- Adaptability to outdoor, on-site work in a rural setting.
- Interest in sustainability, eco-construction, or cultural documentation is a plus.
Also note the site is not in the Crowded Rishikesh City, but Rishikesh Outskirts, so someone looking for crowd kindly skip.
