Key accountabilities and responsibilities
- Strategically oversee the functional understanding of applications within the Investments platform that fall under test automation scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives and engineering excellence.
- Lead the transformation of QA Engineering practices, driving AI adoption and automation across Investment platform squads to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Provide visionary leadership within Agile Teams and Scrum Squads, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture a g developers, BAs, and Product Owners to ensure superior software quality.
- Architect and govern continuous integration and delivery pipelines, designing robust, scalable, and automated testing frameworks that seamlessly operate across all environments.
- Own and evolve the Automation Roadmap, regularly reassessing applications for automation feasibility while ensuring optimal resource utilization and impact-driven enhancements.
- Champion simplification by eliminating unnecessary complexity and bureaucracy, empowering teams to work with agility and efficiency.
- Proactively communicate progress up (RAG) to stakeholders, ensuring transparency on risks, challenges, and mitigation strategies while maintaining accountability for overall test engineering quality.
- Quantify and articulate the tangible benefits of test automation in terms of effort and cost savings, delivering compelling insights to stakeholders that justify continued investment in automation-driven in ation.

- Confidence & excellent communication: - Able to converse and interact with Product owners Delivery leads and Portfolio leads on Test activities
- Able to mentor QA engineers in automation activities and assist in resolving automation related issues
- Skilled in Selenium-C#. Core /Playwright using Spec flow framework
- API Automation for REST APIs with Postman & Rest Assured
- Automated Database/Back-end Test Automation
- Integration and running of Automated Test suite within the Azure DevOps pipeline to achieve continuous delivery
- Experience of Test & Defect Management tools like Jira/Zephyr/HP-ALM/ADO
- Proficient in SQL
- Experience of using any Gen-AI tools
- Ability to use opensource tools and off shelf tools and open to experiment new tools
- Proficient in TDD and BDD processes
- Understanding of Frontend and Backend systems and can-do basic debugging and configuration

Experience:
16 Yrs. of experience in Test Engineering which includes Automation Framework design and implementation, building test automation suites and integrating the same with DevOps pipeline
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline.
