As VP/SVP Private Wealth, you will play a pivotal role in leading our wealth management business. You will be responsible for scaling the franchise, driving client acquisition at the highest levels, and mentoring leaders within the team. This role requires a seasoned professional who can balance strategic vision with execution, while building enduring client relationships and ensuring superior business growth.
- Strategic Business Leadership:* Define and implement strategies to grow AUM and expand the Private Wealth business across regions.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship:* Lead, coach, and inspire multiple teams of Private Wealth Managers/Team Leaders, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Client Acquisition & Retention:* Build strong relationships with HNI/UHNI clients, family offices, and institutions, driving large-ticket investments.
- Product Advisory:* Deliver comprehensive wealth solutions across PMS, AIFs, structured products, MF, and succession/estate planning.
- Revenue & P\&L Ownership:* Drive revenue growth, profitability, and cost efficiency for the vertical.
- Market Positioning:* Represent SMC at industry forums, events, and partnerships to enhance brand positioning in wealth management.
- Compliance & Governance:* Ensure regulatory adherence, client confidentiality, and ethical standards.
Desired Profile
- Experience:* 12- 18 years in wealth management, with proven success in managing good AUM and leading large teams.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and manage private wealth businesses at a regional/national level.
- Relationships: Strong network with HNIs, UHNIs, family offices, and institutional clients.
Skills: Strategic mindset, strong business acumen, client advisory expertise, and leadership presence.
