Job Description

As the Vice President, Global Sales for the Sustainability Line of Business (LOB) at our company, your role involves leading the commercial efforts to drive adoption and revenue of Sustainable solutions, with a key focus on leveraging our proprietary platform, ForestTwin. Your responsibilities include: - **Developing and Executing Global Sales Strategy**: - Formulating and executing a comprehensive global sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue targets for the Sustainability LOB. - Focusing on both the Indian and international markets to drive revenue growth. - **Driving Revenue Growth**: - Leading and closing significant strategic deals, establishing and maintaining relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers. - **Market Expansion**: - Identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing new market opportunities and client segments globally. - Developing tailored go-to-market plans for each opportunity. - **Pipeline Management**: - Overseeing the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to contract closure. - Ensuring accuracy and predictability in sales forecasting. - **Leading Platform Commercialization**: - Championing the ForestTwin platform's commercial success across all target markets. - Selling the platform as a one-stop solution for the entire carbon credit value chain. - **Monetizing Marketplace**: - Driving transactional revenue from the platform's function as a marketplace for agro commodities. - **Integrating Platform & Service Sales**: - Articulating the combined value proposition of sustainability consulting services with the capabilities of the ForestTwin platform. - **Maintaining Subject Matter Authority**: - Applying expert-level knowledge of the global sustainability regulatory environment and competitive landscape. - **Developing Team Leadership**: - Building and mentoring a global sales team proficient in selling services and the ForestTwin platform. - Acting as the primary interface between Sales, Product Development, and Delivery teams. **Qualifications**: - **Experience**: - Minimum 15+ years of total professional experience, with at least 10 years in a commercial or sales leadership role in sustainability, ESG, or climate-tech consulting/services. - Proven experience in selling carbon credit projects and related advisory services. - Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role with multi-million-dollar quotas. - Exceeding sales targets in India and global markets. - **Education & Skills**: - Bachelor's, Master's / PHD in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Sustainability) is highly preferred. - High technical acumen in understanding and demonstrating digital platforms. - Exceptional communication skills and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on selling experience, resilience, entrepreneurial drive, and a passion for advancing corporate sustainability through expert services and cutting-edge technology.,
