Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sample Collector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting various biological samples from pets during home visits. This role requires excellent customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of samples collected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sample Collection:

• Conduct home visits to collect biological samples (e.g., blood, urine, stool) from pets as required for diagnostic tests.
• Ensure all samples are collected using appropriate techniques and equipment to maintain sample integrity.

• Handling and Transportation:

• Properly label and store collected samples to prevent contamination or degradation.
• Transport samples safely and promptly to designated diagnostic laboratories or veterinary clinics.

• Customer Service:

• Communicate effectively with pet owners to explain the sample collection process and address any concerns.
• Provide clear instructions to pet owners on how to prepare their pets for sample collection.

• Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of all samples collected, including details of the pet, type of sample, and collection time.
• Prepare and submit daily reports on sample collection activities.

• Equipment Maintenance:

• Ensure all sample collection equipment and supplies are properly maintained and sanitized.
• Monitor inventory levels of sample collection kits and request replenishments as needed.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with veterinarians and tele-callers to coordinate home visits and ensure timely sample collection.
• Assist veterinarians during home visits when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:

• Diploma course in veterinary science is preferred
• Certification or training in veterinary assistance or a related field is a plus.

• Experience:

• Previous experience in sample collection or a similar role in a veterinary or medical setting is preferred.
• Experience in handling pets and understanding their behaviour is beneficial.

• Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle pets safely and with care.
• Basic knowledge of sample collection techniques and protocols.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Comfortable using mobile apps and electronic records for documentation.

• Other Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
• Willingness to travel within Noida and Ghaziabad.
