Vessel Performance Manager

As a Vessel Fleet Performance Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the performance of clients" fleets. Your responsibilities will include analyzing fleet performance, providing valuable insights, and guiding clients on enhancing vessel efficiency and compliance. To excel in this role, you should possess strong maritime operational experience, a data-driven mindset, and a dedication to sustainable shipping practices. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and analyze the performance of vessel fleets using the Smart Ship Hubs platform. - Conduct comprehensive performance reviews, covering aspects such as Emissions, Fuel efficiency, Speed profiles, Engine utilization, and Weather routing. - Collaborate closely with clients to offer actionable insights and develop performance improvement strategies. - Lead discussions on voyage planning, charter party compliance, and emissions reduction tactics. - Work in collaboration with product and engineering teams to enhance data accuracy and platform features. - Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including MARPOL, SEEMP, EEOI, CII, and EU MRV. - Prepare and deliver performance dashboards, monthly reports, and fleet benchmarking studies. - Support the onboarding of new vessels and facilitate data integration with client systems. - Serve as the primary point of contact for technical performance inquiries from customers. Qualifications & Experience: - Chief Engineer / Master Mariner with both sailing and shore-based experience. - Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in vessel performance, voyage performance, marine operations, or technical management. - Strong understanding of vessel machinery, fuel consumption, and hydrodynamics. - Previous exposure to performance analytics platforms or maritime IoT systems is advantageous. - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as IMO DCS, CII, and EU ETS. - Excellent analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel is essential; experience with BI tools, Python, or data analytics would be a plus.,
