Lead Vessel Performance

Role Overview: You will be joining the Vessel Performance Team at Smart Ship Hub Digital to optimize the operational efficiency and performance of the fleet. This role entails a deep understanding of vessel systems, data analysis, and a proactive approach to enhancing overall vessel performance in the Marine/Oil & Gas sector. Key Responsibilities: - Perform analytics, provide Technical Advisories, and conduct Predictive Analysis using regression models. - Offer Technical Advisory for vessels onboard, identifying areas for performance improvement and providing relevant technical suggestions and best practices. - Collaborate with Analytics, Engineering, and Software Development teams to enhance vessel performance. - Analyze vessel data to identify patterns, provide insights on preventing failures, and maximize opportunities. - Support the development of new data reporting and analysis tools to continuously improve vessel performance management. - Develop a knowledge database and provide training/knowledge sharing to relevant stakeholders. - Work with chosen partners such as classification societies and machinery makers. - Lead and implement innovative projects to reduce the carbon footprint. - Facilitate a unified approach within the team and all stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proficiency in research and data analysis, preferably using tools like MS Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and Python. - Hands-on attitude, good stakeholder management skills, and proven reliability and self-motivation. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment. - Knowledge of performance systems is an added advantage. - Efficiently work across diverse and multicultural teams. - Strong problem-solving skills and interest in resolving challenges with innovative solutions. - Ability to influence and lead discussions with stakeholders to achieve results. - Bachelor's degree from a top reputed institution, preferably in Mechanical/Marine Engineering, with a strong understanding of Ships On-Board operations.,
