Vendor Sourcing Manager

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying, evaluating, and qualifying potential suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance. - Conducting market research and benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities and industry best practices. - Negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors to ensure long-term collaboration and value creation. - Monitoring supplier performance against agreed KPIs such as cost, quality, delivery, and service. - Collaborating with internal stakeholders (procurement, finance, operations, supply chain, legal) to align vendor selection with business needs. - Managing risk by ensuring vendor compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. - Driving cost savings initiatives while maintaining quality standards. - Developing contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions. - Maintaining accurate records of contracts, agreements, and supplier performance reports. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. - 5-8 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or sourcing roles. - Experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management. - Industry-specific sourcing knowledge is a plus.
