Job Description

As a Vendor Onboarding Specialist for Kestone Utsav's Non-Venue Supply P&L division, your primary responsibility will be to identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors to ensure a seamless supply chain. Your role will require strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in vendor management. You will take complete ownership of the profit & loss (P&L) for the vendor category, focusing on revenue growth and cost optimization. This involves identifying and onboarding the top 5 vendors across key event-related categories such as decor, production, AV, catering, etc. You will negotiate competitive pricing, contracts, and service agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Collaboration with the Event Sales Team is crucial, as you will work closely to create compelling proposals for sales pitches and client meetings. It is important to ensure that vendor partnerships align with client expectations and event requirements. Cost & Margin Control will be a key aspect of your role. You will coordinate with the Event Execution Team to track vendor deliverables, ensuring committed costs and profit margins are controlled. Implementing cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and efficiency is essential. Driving the yearly P&L objectives for the vendor category will be part of your responsibilities. This involves optimizing partnerships, pricing structures, and service offerings. Regularly reviewing vendor performance to ensure strategic alignment with Kestone Utsav's business goals is necessary. To excel in this role, you should have experience in vendor management, procurement, or event operations within the wedding/event management industry. Strong negotiation skills, the ability to manage vendor contracts, and a deep understanding of event-related services are required. Proven ability to drive P&L performance and manage budgets effectively, along with excellent collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally with sales and execution teams, are also essential.,
