Vendor Management Lead analyst

Role Overview: As a Senior Vendor Analyst at The Othain Group, your role is crucial in managing vendor partners efficiently and accurately to support the sourcing process and strategy. Your responsibilities will include reviewing new vendor documentation, managing vendor portfolio, suggesting process improvements, and enforcing VST standards. Additionally, you will support the ordering and billing process, manage distributor relationships, and track vendor activity and spending. Key Responsibilities: - Review and manage new vendor requests documentation process - Collect business case and background information for new vendors/subcontractors - Gather justifications and request exceptions when needed - Manage sourcing discrepancies and report on exceptions quarterly - Guide teams for contract review and other associated activities - Identify and address data cleansing opportunities in the vendor portfolio - Identify manual processes for automation to enhance efficiency - Administer and update vendor data in financial systems - Provide suggestions for continuous process improvement - Communicate with inline business units for vendor management - Enforce VST standards and manage VST team tasks - Experience in D365 application - Manage requests for activating/deactivating restricted vendors - Verify eligibility of vendors and manufacturers - Update vendor accounts with necessary information and documents - Assist in day-to-day management of distributor sourcing relationships - Report on vendor activity and spending - Track and update manufacturer partner program levels and authorization letters Qualifications Required: - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Exceptional organizational skills - Strong attention to detail - Hardworking and self-motivated - Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Excel, and other productivity tools (Note: The additional details of the company were not included in the provided job description.),
