Job Position : Vendor Development Engineer (Supply Chain Management) Experience : 2-5 Years Qualification : B.E (Mechanical) Work Location : Vadodara, Gujarat (Work from office only) Working Days : Five Roles & Responsibilities : Develop multiple vendors to obtain the right material at a competitive price. Experience in New Vendor development. Receiving and Validating New Part Requests for parts like Mechanical Sheet Metal Enclosures, Stamping Parts, Injection Moulding, Rubber Moulding, High Pressure Die Casting Packaging, Fasteners, Prototyping, Surface Treatments etc. Strategic Sourcing/ Procurement of Mechanical Components. Vendor Development and Vendor Evaluation. Vendor Finalization and Costing. Conducting L1 Negotiations. Supplier Assessments and Visits. Excellent communication skills Skill Set Required: Candidates from Mechanical background with exposure of Mechanical components. Should have exposure into independently sourcing vendors, finalizing them and handling the costing part.
