Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Transport raw materials and finished food products to and from designated locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring correct handling and storage (e.g., temperature-sensitive items). Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance (e.g., oil, tires, lights). Ensure accurate delivery records, including invoices, delivery notes, and logs. Follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the vehicle. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Report delays, accidents, or traffic violations to the supervisor immediately. Assist with warehouse or production tasks as required (optional based on company needs). Requirements: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the food or beverage industry. Good knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating refrigerated trucks or delivery vans. Certification in food handling or logistics Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
