VAT Analyst

You will be joining our growing International Compliance Operations team in Pune as a VAT Analyst. In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting U.S. and European customers, collaborating with foreign tax authorities, and external partners to deliver top-notch VAT compliance services across various jurisdictions. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals who excel in operational roles with international exposure, have a knack for working with systems and customers, and bring an AI-first continuous improvement mindset. Your responsibilities will include leading VAT compliance activities for global customers across 52 countries, managing onboarding and de-boarding processes, preparing and filing accurate application packs to tax authorities and third-party vendors, updating internal systems, responding to customer queries, coordinating with returns teams and tax authorities, and managing and resolving inquiries across multiple jurisdictions. To thrive in this role, you should have at least 2 years of prior experience in VAT Compliance. An enthusiasm for continuous improvement, an AI-first mindset, and the ability to identify process gaps and adopt new technologies are crucial. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborating with diverse teams and partners in different geographies.
