Role Overview: At PwC, as a finance consulting generalist, you will specialize in providing consulting services related to financial management and strategy. Your responsibilities will include analyzing client needs, developing financial solutions, and offering guidance to help clients optimize their financial performance, improve decision-making, and achieve their financial goals. Your work will involve understanding various aspects of finance consulting and providing tailored recommendations to meet specific business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Analyzing third party valuations by challenging assumptions and performing sensitivity analysis on a wide range of illiquid investments across industries and geographies using accepted approaches and theory - Developing technical expertise in the valuation of alternative assets and serving as a firm resource for that expertise - Reporting and presenting analysis and conclusions, including written reports and drafting valuation queries for audit teams - Delegating tasks effectively and providing direction and support to junior team members - Supervising and coaching others to enhance the quality of work, taking responsibility for critical self-review, seeking advice from supervisors, and responding to feedback promptly - Building long-term client relationships through exceptional client service, understanding client needs, and delivering high-quality service and work product Qualifications Required: - Qualified Chartered Accountant or CFA charter holder - Minimum of 3-5 years of valuation-related work experience, including constructing and reviewing valuation models such as DCF, comparable company/bond, and option pricing models - Understanding of the Private Equity industry, startup and VC funding, and capital structure of private companies - Proficiency in MS Excel and experience in building and maintaining client relationships - Strong research, financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills - Fluency in English, strong communication skills, and a strong team player - Bachelor's in finance/accounting/economics with a focus on valuation methods along with CFA (US) or CA certification - Experience in mentoring staff, managing teams, coordinating internal teams, and working effectively with third parties Additional Company Details: (Note: This section is not present in the provided job description) Please let me know if you need any further information.,
