Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Validation Engineer in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of experience and be responsible for designing and implementing GitOps-compliant pipelines, integrating tools like Sonobuoy for Kubernetes conformance testing, and orchestrating chaos engineering workflows.

Roles and Responsibility

Design and implement GitOps-compliant pipelines for validation across hardware, OS, Kubernetes, and platform layers.
Integrate Sonobuoy for Kubernetes conformance testing and ensure test coverage for conformance, performance, fault injection, and post-upgrade checks.
Orchestrate chaos engineering workflows via LitmusChaos for resilience testing and develop/maintain end-to-end test frameworks using pytest or Go.
Implement performance tests with k6 and system benchmarks in CI/CD.
Build dashboards/reports for test results, compliance, and drift detection.
Collaborate with Infra, SRE, and platform teams to embed validation early in deployments and own QA gates for all automation-driven releases.

Job Requirements

Mandatory skills include Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Shell/PowerShell/Python scripting, pytest, Go, k6, Sonobuoy, LitmusChaos, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Core skills required are Kubernetes architecture & upgrade expertise, GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux), infra validation (GPU drivers, kernel modules, CNI, CRI), debugging, RCA, and incident analysis skills.
Knowledge of GPU infra is a plus.
Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration is desirable.
Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals is required.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
