Job Description

Role Objective

The Validation Manager ensures every order delivered by Living Timeless matches what was sold — in design, material, measurements, hardware, finish, and installation quality.

This role exists to prevent errors, rework, client dissatisfaction, and cost leakage by acting as the final authority on validation across design → factory → site → handover.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Order Validation (Pre-Production)
  • Cross-verify: Final drawings vs customer approvals, Materials, finishes, colors, laminates, shutters, accessories, Hardware specs (hinges, channels, lifts, soft-close, etc.)
  • Ensure no order goes to factory without complete, signed validation
  • Flag mismatches, assumptions, or missing specs immediately


2. Factory Output Validation (We Don’t Assemble In-Factory)
  • Validate manufactured components before dispatch: Board thickness & finish,Edge banding quality,Cut accuracy & labeling, Hardware packing completeness
  • Coordinate with packaging person to ensure: Correct item mapping, Damage-free packing, Site-wise segregation

  • 3. Site Readiness & Installation Validation
    • Confirm site readiness before installation: Civil work clearance, Electrical & plumbing alignment,Measurement re-check if required
    • Validate installation quality: Alignment, leveling, gaps, Soft-close & movement checks, No scratches, dents, or finish defects
    • Ensure installers follow LT installation SOP


    4. Final Handover & Sign-off
    • Conduct final quality check before customer handover
    • Create punch list (if any) and ensure closure
    • Collect internal quality sign-off before customer sign-off
    • Ensure handover photos & documentation are uploaded


    5. Quality Control & Continuous Improvement
    • Maintain: Validation checklist (Design, Factory, Site, Handover), Error logs & root-cause analysis
    • Identify recurring issues and report to: Design team, Factory/vendor, Installation partners
    • Help tighten SOPs to reduce dependency on individuals


    Authority & Accountability:

    • Has full authority to STOP dispatch or installation if validation fails
    • Reports directly to Founder / Ops Head
    • Measured on: Error reduction, Rework cost reduction,On-time handovers, Customer satisfaction post-handover


    Required Profile:

    • 3–7 years experience in: Modular kitchens / wardrobes / interior execution
    • Strong understanding of:
    • Materials, hardware, finishes
    • On-site installation realities
    • Highly detail-oriented, no tolerance for “adjust kar lenge”
    • Comfortable being firm, clear, and non-negotiable on quality
    • Can work between designers, factory, installers, and ops
